The Turtle-Friendly Business Recognition Program, a collaboration between Fight Dirty Tybee and Tybee Island Main Street, celebrates local businesses that go the extra mile to protect our coastal environment. Whether you’re a restaurant, retail shop, ice cream spot, bar, or hospitality provider, you can be recognized for your efforts!

Earn a window decal, certification event, and enjoy social media shoutouts when you meet the program’s turtle-friendly criteria. Let’s work together to keep Tybee clean and turtle-safe!

How to earn the designation:

• Eliminate plastic bags, plastic straws, and Styrofoam.

• Actively promote recycling and sustainability to both staff and customers.

• Take additional steps to reduce single-use plastics in your operations.
